ABOUT JOURNAL
Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis „Studia de Securitate” ISSN 2657-8549 is a peer-reviewed, open access journal and has many years of tradition related to education in the field of defense education, which began at the then Higher Pedagogical School in Krakow in the 1970s. The periodical changed its title several times. Currently, the journal is published as a half-yearly by the Institute of Security Studies at the Pedagogical University in Krakow.
Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis „Studia de Securitate” accepts for publication the results of the scientific research conducted in various Polish and foreign research centers and serves as the platform for sharing scientific ideas and opinions as well as for a discussion on theory and practice related to broadly understood security. We invite all members of the scientific community from Poland and abroad to cooperate and publish in our magazine the results of the research in the fields of: security, political science and public administration, social science and education. The journal publishes articles, reviews, conference proceedings, and announcements from authors from all over Poland and abroad. Thanks to the online access, the periodical reaches all academic centers, institutions and people dealing with security issues. All papers and materials published in the journal are reviewed. Their summaries and keywords are translated into English. The Scientific Council is composed of prominent security scientists from the country and abroad.
With its thematic range, the journal covers issues in the fields of, among others: security and defense, in particular the theory of security, security policy, national and international security, contemporary armed conflicts and armed conflicts from a historical perspective, security education, internal security as well as other thematic fields related to security in its broad holistic sense.
Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis „Studia de Securitate” is indexed in Index Copernicus Journals Master List, Index Copernicus World of Journals, Google Scholar, NUKAT, WorldCat. The Journal is also on the Ministry of Science and Education list of scientific journals (no. 32361) with the 40 points in the ranking system.
Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis “Studia de Securitate” is an online journal with its own website. Publication is free of charge. The Journal is financed by ministerial programs and university grants.
